Security operatives fighting against the Boko Haram sect in the north-eastern part of Nigeria have suffered massive losses after triggering a mine.
A vigilante group was hit hard by suspected Boko Haram sect after encountering an explosive during patrol in Borno state.
According to multiple online reports, the bomb was said to be buried by the terror group in the forest to wade off any "unwanted guests" as the security operatives ran into it with their vehicles which was badly damaged.
The number of causalities are yet to be ascertained as the time of filing this report.
