Family and friends have been left distraught after a woman who was declared missing was dead inside her office.
Lucia Thembisile Yende
Lucia Thembisile Yende, a 30-year-old woman missing for nearly two weeks has been found dead in her Eskom office at the Springs power station, South Africa on Monday, May 29th.
According to Times Live, Lucia Thembisile Yende was last seen on May 17. Her white single cab Toyota Hilux was also found in the parking lot. Her body was found in the office which remained locked since the day she went missing, despite police dogs sniffing the premises.
"On the day she was reported missing, police came and searched the offices. They even had police dogs there but could not pick up any smell" Eskom national spokesperson Khulu Phasiwe told News24.
"We know that the woman was found in her office‚ but I don’t know what was the cause of death‚” police spokesperson Kay Makhubele told TimesLIVE on Tuesday morning.
Eskom officials were quoted as saying that “something untoward” had happened on the day that Yende had gone missing‚ referring to the fact that CCTV cameras had stopped recording.
Family spokesperson Mboneni Yende said relatives had tried to figure out what she had been up to at work‚ but were told the CCTV surveillance system was switched off that day.
“The sad part is that on Thursday we went there‚ there were three workers that were inside the station working. On that day‚ it had been 10 days since had been missing‚” Yende said.

“Are you telling me that if someone has been dead for 10 days then you can’t smell anything? That is highly impossible. The people who were there knew what they were doing?"
Meanwhile, Search and Rescue lead investigator Lourens Smit said there is suspected foul play surrounding the death of the young woman.
"When she was reported missing‚ the whole office and its surroundings were checked by SAPS and the K9 unit. The family and community members also searched. Her body was definitely not at the office. On day 13 [13 days after she went missing] her body is found‚ locked in her office. That definitely suggests foul play." Smit said.
Lourens also said that Eskom’s CCTV was working up until the day Thembisile Yende went missing.
“According to her cousin‚ who went to the Eskom office‚ the cameras were not working on the day that she went missing‚” Smit added.
“Why the cameras were not working‚ I don’t know‚ but there is definitely more to the disappearance.”
Eskom spokesperson Khulu Phasiwe also said the company does not yet have details surrounding Yende’s death and that a post-mortem will shed some light on what happened to her.
“All we know is that she was reported missing for two weeks. She was found in a sub station. Circumstances surrounding her death will be uncovered by the police investigation‚”
Spokesperson Kay Makhubele said the police have opened an inquest docket.
“It is alleged that the woman was last seen when she went to her work place at Eskom in Springs.
"Late in the evening the family went to the police station to report her missing after seeing that she was not coming back home and not answering her phone‚” Makhubele said.
“Since then the police have been searching for the whereabouts of the woman. Yesterday [Monday]‚ the police were called at Eskom‚ where they pointed out one office which was not in use and had a funny smell. The police had to break the door because it was locked‚ only to discover the body of the missing woman.”
He said the police do not yet know the cause of Yende’s death and are awaiting post-mortem results.
Makhubele said allegations that cameras were not working when the woman went missing‚ will be part of the police investigation.

See the 3-week-old Baby Who Got Bitten to Death After Being Left Alone With the Family's Three Pitbulls

A little baby girl has died a really tragic death after she was left alone with her family's three pitbulls.
The baby was killed by the dogs
Susannah Jean Murray, a 3-week-old was killed after one of her family’s three pitbulls attacked the baby girl while she was unattended with the dogs, according to reports.
According to Inside Edition, Susannah Jean Murray was left alone in a bouncy for five minutes inside of her Michigan home when one of the dogs attacked her.
When an adult returned to check on the girl, she’d suffered severe injuries, including a bite to her head, which authorities said is what killed her.
One of the family’s pit bulls was then found with blood on its mouth, reports said.

Susannah was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery but she died hours later, according to reports.
Residents who lived in the Grand Rapids neighborhood told the Detroit Free Press that the dogs were a dangerous nuisance, calling them “mean and vicious.”
“I’d be scared, because when the dogs get out the fence, they used to chase us,” Hawa Abdi told the paper.
Police took all three dogs to be quarantined at the local animal shelter after the attack.
“The breed of a pit bull, by itself, is not enough to condemn it; any dog can bite. This serves as a critical reminder to never leave a child unattended around a dog,” Grand Rapids Police Department spokesman Sgt. Terry Dixon said.
No one has been arrested in connection with the baby’s death.

6 Reasons Not to Use Your Smartphone at Night

Sponsored Link

In the 21 century, the Smartphone has turned out to be the best friend of human beings but the problem is that the usage of devices have been abused.

Many people now sleep with their phones in bed at night. This is an obvious sign of phone addiction that they dream about their devices. Unbelievable but true. This is not really good. So, before you get into your bed tonight, we urge you to check out these reasons not to use your smartphone in bed at night:
You will be unable to sleep
This is the most obvious reason why you should never use your phone in bed. You will never be able to sleep because of all the notifications that are disrupting and disturbing your sleep. Of course, you know that doctors recommend at least eight hours of sleep daily. Your phone should be on silence if you really want to get a smooth and uninterrupted nap.

You can be depressed
Persons who use their phone more frequently are prone to moodiness and depression. Also, since you are unable to get proper sleep just because you cannot control your phone usage, you are simply making you vulnerable to depression.
You are damaging your eyes
Exposure to blue light at night, which is emitted by your phone, can affect the eyes. And today, there are many smartphones that emit this light. To prevent dry eyes and blurred vision, allow your eyes to rest instead of surfing your phone.
You may experience nomophobia
Imagine waking up in the middle of the night and you are searching desperately for your phone, which is just right beside you. And because you cannot find it, you begin to feel anxious and you become agitated. The only time you recover is when you eventually find your phone. It’s better to switch it off (if you want) and keep it as far away from you as possible.
Reduce exposure to radiation
Smartphones usually release a form of non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation that can be absorbed if it is too near your body. The risk is limited when the phone is disconnected from either Wi-Fi or turned off.

You pay more attention to your loved one
There is no gainsaying that you will concentrate and listen more to your loved ones if you do away with your phone in bed. So, make that decision to limit phone usage in bed at night.

This Is Why You Should Stop Using Deodorant

Sponsored Link

If you’re like most American women, your typical morning routine includes a shower, brushing and flossing, and wrapping it all up in a bow with the application of a swipe or spray of deodorant. That’s before we even start with hair and makeup. In fact, a whopping 95 percent of Americans regularly use deodorant, which has made the deodorant business an $18 billion industry.
While few of us could ever imagine walking out the door without putting on deodorant, there is some compelling evidence that shows that not only is deodorant unnecessary for many, the use of deodorants and antiperspirants can even be dangerous to your health. I know, giving up deodorant or antiperspirant sounds unimaginable, but consider what scientists are discovering about their use.
The advent of the deodorant industry is relatively recent
First, let’s take a little look back on the history of deodorants and antiperspirants.
Deodorants and antiperspirants, while often dumped into the same category, are not the same thing. Deodorants are used to kill odor-producing bacteria, while antiperspirants block sweat glands to keep you from sweating. Many products today contain both.
Before the start of the 20th century, no one used deodorant or really even cared about body odor. The first deodorant ever produced was called Mum and was trademarked in 1888, and the first antiperspirant, called Everdry, was launched in 1903. At first, few actually used the new products. It wasn’t until the early to mid-1900s the use of deodorants became commonplace, and that’s thanks to a clever copywriter who was able to convince women they stunk to high-heaven and needed a remedy for that.
Advertisers took advantage of women’s insecurity
Advertisers, who became more and more adept at convincing the public they needed deodorant and antiperspirant to be attractive, first targeted women. It’s very clear how that manipulation worked when you take a look at a 1937 Mum advertisement, which spoke to a fictitious woman — as well as to the entire population of women — who wasn’t using deodorant.
“You’re a pretty girl, Mary, and you’re smart about most things but you’re just a bit stupid about yourself… In this smart modern age, it’s against the code for a girl (or a man either) to carry the repellent odor of underarm perspiration on clothing and person.

It’s a fault which never fails to carry its own punishment—unpopularity.”
The strategy of showing women that smelly pits ruined their chances to be attractive or to have a social life apparently worked. Sales of one deodorant reached $1 million by 1927, which was a huge sum in that era.

Men came under the same fire, only much later
It wasn’t until 1935 the first deodorant was developed specifically for men. Surprisingly, at the beginning of the 20th century, male body odor was considered attractive because it was a part of being masculine. “But then companies realized that 50 percent of the market was not using their products,” Cari Casteel, a history doctoral student at Auburn University, told The Smithsonian.
Since then, advertisers have used shaming to convince the entire population of men and women that part of being attractive includes the use of deodorants. It has now become a standard way of thinking for us all.

You might not even need deodorant
Some of us really do need deodorant if we’re to feel and be clean by today’s standards. No one ever wants to smell bad, even when we’re alone. I don’t know about you, but after the gym or a run, I can’t even stand to be with myself until I get a shower and slap on some deodorant. Only then do I feel like myself. Turns out, not everyone needs it, though.
You smell because the bacteria living in your armpits breaks down lipids and amino acids found in your sweat and turns them into substances that have a very distinct odor. We all know what that smell is, right? However, one study found not everyone produced the bacteria that leads to underarm odor. The study further found the majority of those who do not tend to have smelly armpits still use deodorant and/or antiperspirant.
Some people are more prone to odor
Several years ago ago, scientists discovered that a gene called ABCC11 determined whether people produced wet or dry earwax. Interestingly, people who produce the “dry” version of earwax also lack a chemical in their armpits that leads to underarm odor. “This key gene is basically the single determinant of whether you do produce underarm odor or not,” Ian Day, a genetic epidemiologist at the University of Bristol and co-author of the study, told LiveScience.
The researchers discovered 2 percent of Europeans lack the genes for smelly armpits, while most East Asians and almost all Koreans lack this gene. “They’re spending their money, exposing their skin to what may in a few instances not be good for their skin. It sort of suggests to me that there are a lot of conformists around,” Day said.
Now, I wouldn’t suggest you go testing your earwax on your own to determine if you have that smelly gene, but it is an interesting connection.

5 CRAZY THINGS WOMEN DO AFTER UNPROT£CT£D $EX TO AVOID GETTING PR£GNANT!!! NUMBER 3 IS A MUST READ… WHAAT???III!

Sponsored Link

They say women are more scared of getting pregnant than contracting HIV/Aids.
I am not sure about the authenticity of the statement, but you get the point. Women will go at extra lengths to ensure they DO NOT get pregnant.
This is a fact, since time immemorial, women have been using bizarre ways to avoid getting pregnant, S-xually Transmitted Infection’s aside. Here are some of the bizarre things they do to enjoy s-x without getting pregnant
5. Squat and sneeze
Immediately after $ex, a woman is required to squat the sneeze. This movement

is said to force out every single sperm from the woman’s veejay.
In ancient Greek, physicians recommended women to do this to shake the sperm out before fertilizing the egg.
Women were also advised to jump up an down, and kick their feet against their bums, to avoid getting pregnant.
How practical
4. Sex during periods
It is messy, I know. Turns out, women enjoy $ex during their periods. To add onto the natural lubrication, it is said chances of a woman getting pregnant at this time are close to nil. If you attended a biology lesson, then you know this is a lie
3. Honey
Applying honey on your hu-ha can prevent pregnancy. The honey will change the acidity of the vagina, making it hard for the sperm to swim to the egg. In ancient Egypt, women added crocodile poop to the honey before applying the mixture. This just screams yeast infection.
